Olympic View - Clubhouse

The Olympic View Clubhouse went through extensive renovations in 2014 to improve the aesthetics of the building. The Clubhouse is a picture staple for Golf BC and a signature venue for weddings year round. We knew going in that we would be faced with a challenge as the severe weather had punished the unmaintained natural wood. The wood detailed columns and posts had extensive water damage with some beams needing to be completely refinished. We had to strip down the existing coating and apply a new rich Sikkens stain on the natural cedar. We had to be very thorough on our prep work as any black water stain mark would show on the finished product. The exterior railings were also completely refinished.
